Whatchu Talking Bout Willis.....Gary Coleman dies

Gary Coleman, who by age 11 had skyrocketed to become TV's brightest star but as an adult could never quite land on solid footing, has died after suffering a brain hemorrhage. He was 42.

Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, where he had been in a coma.

"He was removed from life support; soon thereafter, he passed quickly and peacefully," his manager John Alcantar says. "By Gary’s bedside were his wife and other close family members."

The actor suffered an intracranial hemorrhage at his Utah home on Wednesday night. On Thursday, he was "conscious and lucid," the hospital says in a statement, "but by early afternoon that same day, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened."

Tyler Perry announces ALL STAR CAST For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf

What A Cast!!!! WOW!! Shooting for the film is expected to take place in New York City this summer, and the film will hit theaters in late 2010 or early 2011. Earlier this year, Perry (and Janet Jackson) listed the names of the women attached to the movie, which at the time included Carey. "It's Janet, Mariah, Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, Anika Noni Rose ... I don't want to forget anybody," Perry said. "It's pretty incredible."

"For Colored Girls ..." is based on a series of 20 poems about a woman who is identified with a single color of the rainbow. The stories deal with a wide spectrum of topics including love, abandonment, rape and abortion.

JANET JACKSON (Mega superstar singer, Why Did I Get Married Too)

THE Legendary WHOOPI GOLDBERG (The View, Sister Act)

KERRY WASHINGTON (Ray, I Think I Love My Wife)

KIMBERLY ELISE (Set It Off, Diary of a Mad Black Woman)

LORETTA DEVINE (This Christmas, First Sunday)

JURNEE SMOLLETT (Eve's Bayou, The Great Debaters)

ANIKA NONI ROSE (Dreamgirls, The Princess and the Frog)

Mariah drops out of upcoming Tyler Perry star filled film

I'm not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,' Carey's rep says about her decision not to star in the film.

Fans who have been looking forward to seeing Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson hit the big screen together for Tyler Perry's film adaptation of Ntozake Shange's 1975 play "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" will be disappointed to learn that the flick is officially one diva short.

A rep for Carey confirmed to People.com that the singer decided not to appear in the flick this week, following Perry's confirmation of the cast to MTV News in April. Her rep, Cindi Berger, gave no concrete reason her departure but said, "I'm not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time."

Her dropping out of the film has many wondering if Carey is pregnant, a rumor that has been following her around since she married Nick Cannon two years ago. That rumor has to date not been confirmed.

Janet Jackson shuts down American Idol

Every year the American Idol finales have a surprise performer and this year they went with the best woman who works a stage Miss Jackson. Of course with internet nowadays it was a surprise to me and other Janet fans, everything leaks out nowadays with Twitter and Facebooks from band members, dancer, producers etc. I just have to say Janet shut all the haters down. People saying "Oh she just gonna lipsync" or "she aint got it no more". She is a Jackson. Janet came out like the queen she is revealing her new haircut to the world (she cut it for the new Tyler Perry film). She started by singing her 1993 Poetic Justice single "Again" and went into her 2010 Why Did I Get Married Too single "Nothing" both of which she sang live and effortlessly and then did what everyone was hoping for, shut it down and got down with "Nasty". Her performance has gotten rave reviews, this is what she needed. Oh and that catsuit Good Gawd!!!

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys engaged and expecting their first baby together

I posted weeks ago that I thought she was pregnant by the looks of those concert pictures but now it has been confirmed. Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys have two reasons to celebrate.

Not only is the low-key couple engaged, they are also expecting their first child together, People.com reports.

Keys, 29, and her music producer-beau, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, are "very happy," a friend of the couple told the mag.

According to their reps, the couple is set to tie the knot "in a private ceremony later this year."

In March, Keys told U.K. newspaper Daily Record that she is "very interested in starting a family."

"It is one of the most beautiful experiences to have in this life and I am looking forward to it when it is my time," she said.

This will be the first marriage for Keys. Beatz, 31, has two sons -- Kasseem Jr., 3, and Prince Nasir, 9 -- from previous relationships.

Chilli, Brandy & Ray J, and the Basketball Wives all get renewed

My favorite night of TV lately has been Sunday nights and the reason is because VH1 has 3 very entertaining shows that air. What Chilli Wants which is about TLC's beautiful Chilli trying to find a man that meets her "list". Brandy & Ray J A Family Business which follows the Norwood family trying to get through the music business and their family emotions and last but not least, Basketball Wives which stars the scorned wives of NBA greats and shows what it is like for a woman married to or divorced to an NBA player. VH1 has been so happy with the ratings of these 3 series that they have already agreed to do 2nd seasons for all 3. Cant wait!!!

Trey Songz-Your Side Of The Bed

Trey songz is back with his 6th single (not many artist get that many singles nowadays from one album) from his highly successful album READY. "Your Side Of The Bed" is a slow ballad and probably another smart single choice on Atlantic Records. The video features Keri Hilson as his girlfriend/baby momma. Very nice video, probably his best so far in his career. Very Nice

Ol Skool Video of the Day En Vogue-Too Gone, Too Long

This video came after my favorite Dawn left the group and as we all know it didnt really work without the original 4. I must say tho, this song and vdeo was one of the best they ever made in my opinion. You can tell it wasnt the same En Vogue, the clothes changed, the hair was more colorful, everything was new but this was a gem out of that change. Enjoy

The BET Awards nominations. Jermaine tells u how wrong they got it

Queen Latifahs HOSTING!! Thats a good choice, long overdue in my opinion, she is known to be a good award show host. Cant wait to see what she does

Best Female R&B Artist
» Beyoncé
» Mary J. Blige
» Melanie Fiona
» Alicia Keys
» Rihanna

OK can we have one year without a damn Beyonce nomination? I mean really. She hasnt really came out with anything recently to get nominated. Whitney or Sade shouldve got that nomination, just my opinion. Anyway other than her I feel they got this right, these were the top females of the past year. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: ALICIA KEYS she has released 3 pretty sucessful singles and the album is still blooming

Best Male R&B Artist
» Chris Brown
» Raheem DeVaughn
» Maxwell
» Trey Songz
» Usher

Ok Why did Chris Brown get nominated? What has he released that warrants a nomination? Now if this was 3 years ago, I would bet money that he would win, Robin Thicke should've had that spot. Raheem Devaughn? I dont get that one either but ok I guess. Usher is really just starting back out so I dont see him getting the win. This has been the year of Maxwell and Trey Songz no one can say otherwise, the two of them have been all over the tv and radio. Its a hard one but... JERMAINE'S CHOICE: TREY SONGZ, everything he has released has been everywhere and he really came hard with that album, he deserves it. BET has always loved Maxwell so it could go his way, we will see

Best Female Hip Hop Artist
» Ester Dean
» Lil Kim
» Nicki Minaj
» Rasheeda
» Trina

They really need to get rid of this category, where are all the female rappers? What hits have they had? Missy has been gone, Eve hasnt come back yet, Lil Kim was featured on one song, I cant even remember what it is but if they gave her a whole nomination off a feature on a song that is nuts. This is a easy one. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: Nicki Minaj, she basically wins by default, she is the only female rapper out in almost five years which is why she is having so much success not to mention being Lil Waynes artist, BET will choose her, there is no one else.

Best Male Hip Hop Artist
» B.o.B
» Drake
» Fabolous
» Jay-Z
» Ludacris

Whenever you put Jay Z in the mix its almost like putting Beyonce in the mix, you already know who will win. The Blueprint 3 has been huge for Jay Z and every single he is releasing is smashing. The collab with him and Alicia alone will get him the win. Ludacris is always the underdog, I dont know why because he is one of the best in the rap game. Drake hit the scene really big this past year, he is a contender as well but does BET give it to the rookie who has been all over everyones songs but doesnt have an album of his own out yet or give it to the rapper who is considered the "best" since Biggie and Tupac. JERMAINE'S Choice: Ludacris, but I dont see it happening for him.

Best New Artist
» Justin Bieber
» Melanie Fiona
» Nicki Minaj
» Wale
» Young Money

How did Justin Bieber get nominated? It has nothing to do with him being white or a teen pop artist but his nomination is very random. Wale, sorry aint gone happen. Melonie Fiona was a breath of fresh air this year and deserves it but has she done enough is the question. We all are familiar with her song "It Kills Me" but she hasn't impacted heavily on the industry just yet. This is a toss up between Young Money (Lil Wayne's group) and Nicki Minaj (Lil Wayne's female artist) Either way he will win. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: Melonie Fiona but she is a longshot, Best New Artist to me means the new artist who will be around for a minute and have a solid career, I feel thats her but she has only proven that with one song which could lead to her loss.

Best Gospel
» The Anointed Pace Sisters
» Kirk Franklin Presents: Artists United for Haiti
» Tamela Mann
» Marvin Sapp
» Vickie Winans
Now....Im not a huge Gospel person but I do know these artist. Well...except the Pace Sisters, never heard of em. Marvin Sapp had the biggest Gospel album of all time this past year and with hits like "The Best in Me" he has this one on lock. I'm surprised BeBe and CiCi arent nominated, there would be a little competition for him. Tamela Mann has a huge following from Tyler Perrys projects like the tv show Meet The Browns but her album hasnt been nearly as huge as Marvin Sapp's. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: Marvin Sapp

Best Collaboration
» Beyoncé (featuring Lady Gaga) - "Video Phone"
» B.o.B (featuring Bruno Mars) - Nothin' on You
» Drake and Trey Songz - "Successful"
» Drake (featuring Lil Wayne, Kanye West and Eminem) - "Forever"
» Jay-Z and Alicia Keys - "Empire State of Mind"
» Trey Songz (featuring Fabolous) - "Say Aah"

This one will be good, all these songs were the songs you heard every 5 minutes on the radio this past year. Well except Beyonce's, why she is up there again? I dont know. Anyway this could go anyway. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: Jay Z and Alicia Keys, they had the whole country singing Neeeeew Yooooooooooork all day every day. Drake and Trey Songz could pull it as well, not sure how BET will do this one.

Video of the Year
» Beyoncé (featuring Lady Gaga) - "Video Phone"
» B.o.B (featuring Bruno Mars) - Nothin' on You
» Melanie Fiona - "It Kills Me"
» Jay-Z and Alicia Keys - "Empire State of Mind"
» Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West - "Run This Town"

Jay Z will win, is there anything else to say? BOB is brand new on the scene, his video has not been out long enough to be a danger, and Melanie Fiona...how many new artist with a lower budget video can win against people who have been around for years and their big budget productions? I havent seen it happen, the winner here will be Jay Z with one of his 2 videos nominated. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: Jay Z Empire State of Mind

Best Actress
» Taraji P. Henson
» Regina King
» Mo'Nique
» Zoe Saldana
» Gabourey Sidibe

O Hell Naw!!! Now where is Janet's nomination or any of the ladies from Why Did I Get Married Too? We all know who has this one, I knew before they announced these nominations. MONIQUE has won EVERY award she has been up for, aint no way BET gon let her come home and not give her their award, really I would not have botherd with nominations for this category, just give it to her and she deserves it. Zoe Saldana (the most beautiful woman in hollywood to me) was apart of the now biggest movie of all time Avatar but she basically only provided a voice, her part was a computer generated blue alien. She wont win, Taraji must be nomiated for I Can Do Bad All By Myself, she wont get it, her role wasn't powerful enough. Regina King hasnt done a movie recently so Im guessing its for that cop show she is on. Janet shoulda had that nomination. Of course Im bias for Janet I love her to death, and NO ONE can beat Monique for Precious but the second best performance of the year by a african american woman next to Monique is Janet Jackson. Tyler Perry basically wrote the sequel to revolve around Janet's character, she filmed a good portion 2 weeks after Michael's funeral, everyone was stunned at that "golf club scene", she went places she never went before in that movie but its ok, she is about to start filming For Colored Girls... with Whoopi, Phylisha Rashad, and Tyler Perry, I believe that will be the Precious of 2011. Janet will get her accolades then. Now that Im done ranting, the only one who can come a lil close to Monique is Precious herself Gabourey Sidibe and she aint getting it. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: MONIQUE, she played that role to the bone

Best Actor
» Quinton Aaron
» Don Cheadle
» Idris Elba
» Jamie Foxx
» Denzel Washington

Not sure about this one, I cant recall any movies with these people. Who is Quinton Aaron? Ya know he aint winning. Denzel is probably nominated for The Book of Eli, didnt see it yet but heard he was good in it of course. Jamie must be nominated for Law Abiding Citizen, that tanked at the box office. OH I know who Quintion Aaron is the guy from The Blind Side, he is a new actor and he was good in the movie as the black football player living with the white upscale family but Naw..he aint winning against no Denzel. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: Dont have one yet, probably Denzel

Best Movie
» "Avatar"
» "Law Abiding Citizen"
» "Michael Jackson's This Is It"
» "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire"
» "The Blind Side"

This are good nominations and the best movies to deserve a best picture nomination, except one. Why is Law Abiding Citizen in there? I needs to talk to BET. Anyway, Avatar was the biggest movie of all time but this is BET its gon be between Precious and This is It. This could be difficult for BET, do you give it to th biggest black movie of the year that even got mainstream nominations and wins from The Oscars and Golden Globes or do you go with Michael's last times on stage, the man whom if it wasnt for him there probably wouldnt be a BET, the biggest artist of all time. JERMAINE'S CHOICE: If they can do a tie I say do that, they have pulled that before but not with Best Picture, Give it to Michael I say.

Robin Thicke ft Snoop-Its In the Morning

The moment I bought Robin's album I played this song and before I knew it I had played it at least 10x, very smart move to release "Its In the Morning" the best song on his album in my opinion. Nice video too

OL Skool Video Of The Day MILESTONE-I CARE ABOUT YOU

Taking it back to 97, why dont they sing like this anymore, bring back the 90's music. A classic from a classic film. Take it back! Enjoy

Alicia's new video UNTHINKABLE (IM READY)

From the moment I purchased Alicia's latest album "The Element of Freedom" I said this song needs to be a single, its my favorite off the album and I have to say this is one of my favorite videos from Ms.Keys. The video takes place in the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s up until the present time and shows that no matter in what time period you lived in there was always an Unthinkable love but the question are you ready? Alicia leaves us with a cliffhanger in the end but I assume she was ready.

OL Skool video of the day

On 106 they have the "Ol Skool joint of the Day" and the video ends up being from 2 years ago, I dont get it but anyway...Jermaine is gonna take you back, everytime I post I will now post a ol skool video that takes you back. Lets go back now to 94, the second single from Brandy's debut album. Here is "BABY"

RUMOR: Alicia Pregnant??

yall know I only post factual information, which is why this is slammed with the RUMOR!! Anyway, apparently Alicia was looking a lil heavy at her concert this past weekend and everyone is saying she looks pregnant, personally I think she looks it too but time will tell. She hasnt confirmed it but we will see. Im sure Swizz Beats ex wife Mashonda would have something to say about that.

Brandy back in the studio

In being one that feels Brandy’s last 3 efforts were unfairly underrated, I’m certainly rooting for Ms. Norwood this go round. With her show (which will almost certainly be green-lighted for a season 2) giving the album a great lead-in, as well as the involvement of top-notch producers, things really look to be on the up for her

People tend to forget that before that "other B" there was Brandy. Brandy's first 3 albums were huge and so was she, she had a hit show, hit music, a doll. Then around the time this decade started she was pushed aside in my opinion. I don't care what nobody say, Brandy has one of the best voices in our generation. I always have loved and respected her and Im loving seeing her reality show every Sunday. Come on back with a hot album Brandy

RIP to one of our legends Miss Lena Horne

She was a beautiful person who stood up for what she believed in. It may have harmed her career in the long run but it only made her a stronger more celebrated person. Basically it made her an icon. I still remember that great episode of A Different World when they honored Lena Horne. She ended up in the diner with Mr. Gains, Kim and Kim's boyfriend dancing to reggae music. I also remember her on Cosby show when she sung to Mr. Cosby. She was a great woman.

Lena Horne, who died at age 92 on Sunday night, was not only one of the 20th century's most popular performers, she was also a civil rights trailblazer whose career suffered gravely for her principles. Her aching signature tune, 'Stormy Weather,' is often seen as a metaphor for a life that saw great triumphs, but also personal tragedy and professional sacrifice for her commitment to racial equality.

Shortly after moving to Hollywood in 1941, Horne became the first black performer signed to a major film studio when she was picked up by MGM. But like singer and dancer Josephine Baker, who was eleven years her senior, Horne achieved international stardom while racial discrimination in her own country dramatically restricted her professional and private lives.

New Sade video BABYFATHER

Very Nice video in my opinion, I always like Sade's videos, they are very basic and just very earthy and very Sade I guess you can say. This is the 2nd single of Soldier of Love, one of my favorites on the album, hoping The Moon and The Sky is the 3rd single, I usually am very good at predicting what the single should be off an album so we will see. Havent heard the Moon and the Sky? click below

Halle is on the market again

It's official: Halle Berry and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry are going their separate ways.

Following Friday's multiple reports of a split between the Oscar-winning actress and the French-Canadian male model, Aubry confirmed the news to Access Hollywood early Saturday.

"I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time," Aubry's statement reads. "She is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another."

"We have been blessed with the most amazing daughter in the world," Aubry continues. "Her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us. Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time."
